OBUASI SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL ALUMNI - NORTH AMERICA

Obuasi Senior High Technical School is a co-educational second-cycle public high school institution at Obuasi in the Obuasi Municipal District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The name OSECTEC is an acronym for the name - OBUASI SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL and has been a symbolic name for the school since its inception on 21st November 1965.

OBUASI SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL ALUMNI - NORTH AMERICA popularlly know as ASIKAFOƆ is an Alumni group composed of all old students of the School from 1965 till present who reside in North America. Membership of the Association composes of Old Student of the school who attended Obuasi Senior High Technical School for ONE or more years and recognized as an alumnus by the School.

OUR VISION

To build strong camaraderie and companionship among OBUASI SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL ALUMNI - NORTH AMERICA and ensure that they stay engaged with our alma mater OSECTEC so that, it shall remain one of the best high schools in Ghana whose students receive the best education and become leaders and contributing members of society.

OUR MISSION

The OSECTEC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION shall promote the interests of OSECTEC Alumni as well as the School’s vision to achieve higher academic standards by making important and practical investments in current students, the School’s infrastructure, programs and curriculum. We shall promote strong relationships between the Alumni of OSECTEC, its current student, faculty, staff and administration. We shall also make it our mission through Alumni involvement to mentor students to become leaders in their communities, countries and the world at large.
